Retirement Party photo (me, my wife, and daughter) in February 2020. A week later the Army shut down all social activities on Post due to Covid.

Looks like I found out about the reunion a little late (as in 5 years late). But hopefully, there will be another one when Covid is over. As for whats happened in my life the last few decades, here is a very brief story. I got a commission in the United States Army two days before my 40th birthday when the cutoff was 40. Shortly after, 9-11 and the War on Terrorism kicked off and I was sent to Afghanistan (deployed there twice). I finally got married in 2004 (stayed single way too long). I became a widower in 2011. That was a tough year. I remarried in 2012 and became a dad in 2013. I am the father of a 7-year-old daughter. I retired from the Army in March 2020 after 20.5 years (counting Army Reserve time). I had to give up running once and for all in September 2017 (My left knee got too bad). Blessings to all.
