| About Me | I am finished with war, I hope. After 6 1/2 years in middle east war zones, I am getting my marbles polished. To be truly happy I would be with my wife doing whatever she wanted of me. My last three years in Iraq found me flying over most of the country with the Army, convoying over part of it with the Marines, living over 4 years in a tent, using port-a-johns regularly, dust storms, eating the same food over and over again and suffering through internet connections of 800bs or less. I doubt many of the teachers I had are still alive but I would like to see Phil Brewer my high school physics teacher. That was the only class I did well at. When I am home I am constantly remodeling something. My biggest surprise in life is marrying my Dianne. We have been married 16 years and never had an argument. She makes me complete. My only vice is eating and bragging on my family. Countries I have been are Belize, Honduras, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Qatar, Kuwait, Dubai, Iraq, Afghanistan, Germany, France, India, Panama, Puerto Rico, Columbia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, and Canada. My wife and I love Germany. We like the Louvre and other museums in Paris. I was there and saw the Rose line just before I read 'The Divinci Code'. When I read the book, I could picture the places I read about. Cool!. Four years I lived in Iraq and two in Afghanistan. Dianne moved to Ohio in 2008. I helped her find the house. I sure will be glad when this is done. I have two reasons for being in Iraq. First is that I voted for the guy that put our troops in harms way. What less can I do then come here and support them. Second is to provide a future for me and my wife. I guess I finally grew to be a romantic. I will do anything (legal) to provide for my family. That does not mean I like it here, but I look forward to a long lasting slow dance with Dianne when I can finally come home. I obtained my BS in 1997 from Wright Stat,. MIS major .I bought a house in the country. I like cities to visit but like the peace of being out of town. I have survived over 300 rocket and mortar attacks. Usually nothing gets hit but one hit Modular Housing about 100 yd from my MOD and killed two Bulgarian soldiers, wounding several others. It comes with the turf. I still ...(read more) |
