About Me	I am Judy Camp Rogers. I grew up in the Fulton/McDonough Counties area of Illinois. As a child I attended a "country" school called Checkrow. In 1959 I graduated from Bushnell Prairie City High School then went on to train as an x-ray/lab technician at Methodist Hospital in Peoria. I was very active in 4-H and in 1963 was selected to represent Illinois as an International Farm Youth Exchange (IFYE) delegate to England/Wales. This was an experience that has influenced my whole life. While on this IFYE trip I met Keith Rogers from Iowa who was going to live in Korea. We wrote each other every day while gone (nine months) and married in May 1964. We have lived in Ames Iowa, Macomb IL, Bangkok Thailand, Jonesboro AR, Avon, Il and Cape Coral FL. We are currently 'snowbirds.' We have two great daughters. Deb is a pharmacist and lives in Columbus OH. Michelle is married and has two sons. They live near Macomb IL. A "favorite" day for me is to have my grandsons with me at our lake house near Avon. I worked as an x-ray tech while Keith finished his PhD. I also worked at Macomb High School and at Arkansas State University. In AR I worked with a program called Youth Opportunities Unlimited (YOU). I have been a 4-H leader and volunteer to many groups. Working with a sorority has been very rewarding for me. Alpha Omicron Pi (AOII) asked me to be a member/adviser 30 years ago. I have been Chapter Advisor, Regional Director, Collegiate Network Specialist, Colony Network Director and currently serve on a national committee. I enjoy being outside (where...(read more)
