Married Kay Adams, Scottsbluff, NE; June 12, 1960; BA in Vocal Music Ed from Hastings
College, Hastings, NE; 1963; MA from UNC, Greeley, CO; 1970. In 1984, he became a Boy Scout professional with Longs Peak Council, Greeley, CO. In 1999, they moved to The Woodlands, TX to help their daughter and son-in-law with their chiropractic business. They also taught math classes for Lone Star College, Montgomery County. After retirement in 2011, they moved back to Greeley. Gary enjoyed directing choirs in schools, churches, and communities until his death. He had a daughter, Suzanne, and a son, Gary Jr; four grandchildren; and four greatgrandchildren.
