After escaping a really bad homelike I was allowed to enlist and became a Nuclear trained submariner. In spite of a poor start in college at Bakersfield, I managed to attain three degrees in later years. Resident as an expatriate in the UK, Saudi Arabia I was able to travel to over 20 countries with many more to come.

15 yrs Artillery, 9 yrs Recruiter honor serving this country with some great men and women. To bad this last six plus years makes me feel like it was for nothing. Hopefully 2016 will get our country back on track with change in oval office.

Joined up in 1957 and then served three tours in Viet Nam. I started out as a combat photographer but subsequently changed to aircraft electronics technician. Spent many years workng on various electronic systems. Ended my career at NAS Whidbey Island in Washingon as an electronic systems instructor at the NAMTD. Upon retirement I was hired by Naval Aviation Engineering Unit to provide technical assistance to Navy squadrons aboard NAS Whidbey. I finally retired in 1995.
