About Me	Here's part of my vita: t George D. Wood, Ph.D Dr. Wood serves on the board of Montessori Academy as Chairman of the Technology Committee. He holds Bachelor's and Masters degrees from Arizona State University, another Master's and a Ph.D. from the University of Arizona. Dr. Wood taught at UA, The University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee and Bucknell University, and taught and did postdoctoral research in Artificial Intelligence at Carnegie-Mellon University (CMU), The Harvard Law School (HLS) and the McDowell Law Center at the University of Akron Law School. A former professor of Philosophy, Computer Science, and Law, and founder and CTO of an Internet Service provider, Dr. Wood has also served as Director of Research and Development for SkyMall, a major on-line and catalog retailer, and as a contract research scientist for Wells Fargo bank, focusing on technologies for detecting money laundering and terrorist financing. His interests in Philosophy and Computer Science center on logic and the philosophy of psychology, concept acquisition, and autonomous learning systems, In his role at Montessori Academy, Dr. Wood created the Montessori Academy web site (www.azma.org) with associated services, and configured the campus internet connection.
