Under Divine Direction and Guidance of God's Holy Spirit, Pastor Bryon K. Miller, and “First-Lady” Angela R. Miller; along with Board Members, Sister Edna M. Mason, Mother Irene Mason, and a Small Group of Believers, found meaning in the transformation of Saul on the road to Damascus [Acts 9:1-19], as Damascus symbolized being a prepared place for prepared a people; organized and named the church, DAMASCUS Christian Fellowship Church on April 8, 2009, at the home of Sister Edna Mason in the City of Manor, Texas. The Mission –to be “A Church Truly Transforming Lives”

On June 16, 2009 all Legal application and process procedures was completed with Travis County, State Comptroller of Texas, Secretary of the State, and the Internal Revenue Service, as an official Body of Believers for Worship and Spiritual Guidance. In September of 2009, the church relocated to its current location in the Edinburgh Gardens Home Community, praying, waiting, and searching for a permanent and more accessible place to Worship.
