About Me As of July 2009 I am now divorced. I have changed n grown for my experiences. I have two wonderful kids that are growing up way to fast for my liking. My daughter is becoming a beautiful young lady.(Which scares the shit outta me.) My son is becoming a smart n strong young man. (Mostly strong willed!) Lol. I have met a wonderful man who I have been dating now for lil over a year. Chris is everything that I could ask for in a man. He treats me like a princess. (Which I'm still tryin to get used too) My kids adore him n that's the most important thing. He is the best thing that has happened to me in a very long time. I love him so very much. I'm looking forward to a wonderful future with him n my kids. Its a great feeling being happy again after such a long time. Well its almost 2011. Its been an awesome two years. Chris is such a wonderful man. The best news of 2010 is on Dec. 19th Chris asked me to marry him. He was pretty sneaky, he managed to keep it a secret for almost two months. Even after I busted him at my mom n dad's house"HAVING COFFEE" boy I am so gullible. LOL He had already told his whole family, my whole family, along with everyone we work with. I can't believe so many people were able to keep it a secret for so long. We were celebrating Christmas early n he decided it was a good time to give me my Christmas present n pop the question. :-) I was so excited n shocked when he pulled the ring from his pocket and got down on one knee. I couldn't believe it. He is such a romantic. I LOVE IT! The ring is so perfect, something I would have picked out myself. Simple but beautiful. I have thought many times about being his wife but I never realized how much I really wanted that dream to come true, until that day. After two years filled with laughs, smiles, and even some tears I can't wait to share even more through the years to come. He has been such a great part of me and my kids lives. He has seen me through some rough times and given me many good times. I too have been there for him through a lot of trials n pain. I plan to stand by his side forever, to be his wife and his best friend. My kids are both excited. They have been teasing us for years about getting married. That night my son told me, "Its about time, I was getting worried, I thought you two were gunna be straight for ever." LOL I just had to laugh at that one. ;-) My daughter knew from the beginning that he was gunna ask me, a few days before she was asking me if me n Chris got married, if we were gunna have a big wedding and if she could make our cake. I didn't think much of it because she had been teasing me for over a year about us getting married. We are still making plans but its looking like its gunna be a late spring, early summer wedding. That is if we can wait that long. LOL We may just elope to Vegas. :-) I'll keep you posted. FEBRUARY 2012 Well it's a little late of an up date but here it is. Chris and I had a very lovely wedding with Friends and Family on May 12, 2011. It was perfect, simple and just what I had always wanted. We spent our honeymoon in McCall, Idaho, where we rented a cute little cabin called the Tree House for the weekend. It was an amazing weekend. We will be doing that again soon, maybe for our 1 year anniversary. :-) Things have been going great with the kids they are both become young people and finding their own place in this crazy world. It still scares me to watch then grow up right before my eyes, but I know that it was bound to happen. Can't keep them little forever. I love them both so very much and I only want whats best for them and hope that they both follow there dreams. Mikayla wants to go to college to be a vet and then move to Oregon to create a santuary for older dogs n cats. Keenan, he is still trying to decide but I'm sure it will involve guns and big machines. :-) I see the Army in his future. What ever they choose I will be there to help them along. As for me n Chris, were planning our future together. We are hoping that within the next year we will be able to buy of first house together. Right now we are in a 3 bedroom apartment that we had outgrown before Chris moved in. LOL Space is very limited but its what we call HOME, at least for now. I can't imagine where my life would be right now if I hadn't met him. I love him so much and I only want to make him the happiest that he has ever been. He's had some rough roads and a lot of tough times but from here on out he is not alone any longer. We will work though everything together as one and together we will make the impossible happen. Love is an amazing thing. I hope everyone can find that one person that makes them whole and that they too can have a future of happiness and true love. May 26, 2012 Well Its been awhile since I updated this. Chris and I celebrated our 1st year of marriage on the 12th. We had a wonderful anniversary and are looking forward to many more. Its been a very interesting year but its been great. As of March 16th I no longer work for Mccain Foods and it was a blessing. I had worked there for 12 years and I was getting burnt out. Now I'm enjoying being a stay at home mom and spending more time with my kids, hubby and actually trying my hand at a little gardening. I don't have a green thumb (its more yellowish green) but I'm trying. :-) I've been so much happier and more relaxed being out of that place. I can't figure out why I waited this long to get out of that place. I'm loving this life, it's a little tight financially but at least I have a husband that I can depend on. He has been so supportive with me staying home, partially because he likes the fact that I cook more Home cooked meals now. LOL and partially because I'm easier to live with. ;-) Its been so nice to not be so tired and grumpy all the time. On the kid front, My kids have grown so much. Keenan is now 13 and Mikayla is turning 21..opps 16 today. They have grown into great kids. Now that I'm not working I can do more things with them. I have been volunforced to become the female venture scout leader so that Mikayla and her cousin Angie can join the scout troop. It's been nice to be apart of something that both the kids are into. I get to go on camp outs with them and spend time with them. It has been so long since I've been able to do that. It's great. We moved into a bigger house this year. It's been so nice to be able to move and not be so crowded. We all have our own spaces and can either spend time together or have our alone time. It's eased a lot of tension. I have enjoyed making this house into a home. We have a yard now, so of course we got a doggy, Daisy came to us when I found her a Lake Walcott on a scout camp out. She has been such a wonderful addition to the family. On a sadder note, we lost one of our special family members this month, Razziberri went to kitty heaven after she got sick from Feline Leukemia. We will miss her so very much. She was the most awesome kitty. Rest in Peace Razzi. Calamity is still a fat as ever and doing good so far,for her age. I'm prepared for her to go when its her time. Well that's bout it for now. I'll write more later. Feb. 13, 2013 Well I just wanted to give an update of what’s been happening with me and my family. I’m still unemployed but things are ok. I plan on looking for something part time just to give me a chance to get out of the house. I also want to make a little extra cash to start building a savings. I miss having a little extra money for the little things that come up. As of today Mikayla is now legally licensed to drive. It's crazy how fast they grow up. It seems like just yesterday she was learning to ride a bike. Keenan is doing much better in school since he started at the DTC. Mikayla has been taking online courses with K12 since September. She has been doing pretty good and is planning her future. Some day she wants to start her own restaurant. Keenan hasn’t quite figured out what he wants to do with his future yet. I hope both their dreams come true and they are able to achieve everything they want to do in their lives. I love them so very much and only want what is best for them. Chris has been doing really well. He has been working hard taking care of us and I only wish I could show him how much I appreciate everything that he does for us. We have both been starting to work on growing our relationships with each other, the kids and also with God. We started going back to the Church that I grew up in, The Church of Christ. It feels good to be back with people that have known me and my family all my life and are there to encourage and support me and my family. I want to grow in faith and hopeful pass it on to my kids. I have spent too many years on the wrong path and it's time I get my life straight and start over anew. I want to learn and g...(read more)
