About Me	I went to CSI for Elementary Educ, met a group of deaf kids in the dorms that became my best friends, so I changed my major to teaching the deaf. I graduated with AA degree in education 1978. I went to ISU for 1 more year toward my Elem Ed degree, but lost interest because I wasn't around the deaf. I changed majors to Speech Pathology and Audiology for a year, but didn't like that, so I dropped out of school, got married, and moved to Boise. We divorced 2 years later, so I moved back to Pocatello, and started in the new program for teaching the deaf, plus special education. I graduated in 1988 with the duo degree, and went to Price, Utah to use both degrees, for 5 years. I married Frank Marker in 1989, and we had 2 kids (10 years younger than my twins). My school closed down, so in 1993 I moved to Bennington (near Montpelier-Bear Lake County-past Lava Hot Springs), and taught at Georgetown Elem 4 years, plus at the high school in Montpelier in afternoons the last year. 1997 I found a job in Burley at the 6-year old school of White Pine Intermediate, so I have been teaching 6th-grade resource (remedial) students since then. I've kept busy with church callings, sports and Scouts with my kids. I was trying for the past 2 years to start my business, but am giving it up until I can get rid of most debts (2010?) My mom has had health problems, so I've been busy helping her a lot. My older kids are in Boise, and have sucked me dry of much money and I've finally learned to say...(read more)
