About Me	Well, Feb 12, 2010 was a new "Birthday" for me! That was the day that I was told by many doctors that my death was eminent, and it was time to say goodbye to my family and friends. I had developed a huge anurisim on my aorta, which went undetected by several doctors despite CAT Scans and xrays and it was so large that it was going to burst at any time causing instant death! I was at St. Vincents but they refused to operate, as did Yale and many other hospitals, They all said I would not survive the operation! Well I was going to die without the operation so luckily I hound a group of doctors in upstate ny who were willing to give it a try. Well 71 days in the hospital and 5 operations later ( 2 Open Heart) I returned home with a new aorta, and 1 less anurism and a life expectancy far greater than before. So now, 6 months later I have a "new attitude" on life. I have lost 120 lbs, have given up smoking and coffee, and I feel great both mentally and physically. Oh I am still a little weak, but I get stronger evey day. But more important than that, the way I appreciate life is so much greater than it was before!
