David and I were best friends for most of our growing up years. I lived on East Main Street and he lived on Diane Terrace. We use to walk to Paradise Green. David’s and my mom shared the same maternity ward At Bridgeport Hospital. I was born the night of January 27, and he the morning of January 28, 1947. He was very kind. He died on March 6, 2022 eight months before my husband Russ
Hilmes. My maiden name was Helen Platt. David remained friends until his death. My he rest in peace.
