About Me	I was born in Buckhannon, WV. My Father was a railroader and Mom was an old fashioned stay at home Mom. I lived two blocks from my grade school (Academy Grade) and the Junior High. My first best buddy was David Boggs. We walked home from school every day for lunch together. Usually got in a fight over something, but always walked back to school together. Growing up we were more like brothers. I attended Buckhannon-Upshur High School and graduated in 1965. I attended Glenville State College and WVU. I went to work for the Braxton County Board of Education in 1970 as a 6th grade teacher at Sutton Junior High transfered to Burnsville teaching Science and then in 1972 was assigned as Head Teacher(Principal) for two years and then took full Principalship in 1975. I was a Principal at Burnsville for 32 years and then moved to Assistant Superintendent for 5 years before retireing. I married Cathy Suzanne Hoffman in 1973 and we were blessed with one son Adam. Adam was born in 1984 he graduated Validictorian at Braxton County High School in 2002 and attended WVU as an undergrad and WVU Law. He is now an attorney in Elkins WV. During my last year as Principal at Burnsville I was blessed with an addition to my family. Dawn Cutlip was my Secretary and we found that we had many similarities. Over the last 6 years I have become very fond of Dawn and her entire family. Dawn is like a Daughter to me, Scott is like a best friend, and Ty and Mahala are like grandchildren.
