I've been having a wonderful time becoming part of the publishing industry after retiring as a clinical, research and academic psychologist some years ago. My memoir, Miracle at Midlife: A Transatlantic Romance, published by She Writes Press in October of 2016, won a gold medal from the Independent Publishers Book Awards, and appears in scattered libraries as far away as Malaysia and Australia. My blog for PsychologyToday.com, "Life, Refracted", has had nearly half a million views since I began writing it shortly after my book was published.
