About Me	Joshua Jorn joined the Monterey County Office of Education in January 2010, as director of General Services. In this capacity, he oversees maintenance, operations, transportation, mail service, warehousing, fleet management and school facility projects and funding to ensure students and staff learn and teach in the best possible environments. He brings more than a decade of experience previously serving in the K-12 and hospital design division as project manager for Darden Architects, and prior to that with Integrated Designs in the Central Valley. For five years, Jorn served as director of Maintenance and Operations for the Kerman Unified School District, where he helped construct numerous modernization and new school construction projects with a local bond program. Currently, he serves as a board member to CSF (Californians for School Facilities), where he lobbies Federal involvement in California school infrastructure. Jorn is a member of CASH (Coalition for Adequate School Housing) and an Executive Member of CSFC (County School Facility Consortium), where he works to secure new school and modernization funding, as well as recommend change ...(read more)
