John E. Stogran is a 1973 graduate of Brownsville Area High School. After graduation I moved to Clarksburg, West Virginia. I began my work career at the Lowndes Bank. I started in the mail room and over the next seven years worked my way up to Vice- President. During that time I attended Salem College and received an Associates Degree in Banking and Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting. While receiving my Associates Degree in Banking I also received my Basic, Standard, General and Advanced Certificate from the American Institute of Banking which is the educational arm of the American Banker's Association. I was also one of the founding members of the North Central West Virginia Chapter of the American Institute of Banking where I served as President of the chapter. I left the Lowndes Bank in 1985 to join the Empire National Bank as Vice President. In 1989 I joined Dominion a Fortune 500 Energy Company where I just completed 20 years of service. During that time I have worked in all areas of the company: Treasury, Engineering, Corporate Planning and Budget where I was responsible for a $620 million dollar capital budget and G&P Business Development where I currently manage our business agreement with our Appalachian Producers. I have received additional recognition from the American Institute of Banking, American Gas Association, Southern Gas Asscociation, Six Sigma Advanced Blue Belt, Robert Morris University Appalachian Gas Measurement Short Course and graduate of the FBI Citizen's Academy. I am currently a member of the Bridgeport West Virginia Development Authority, member of the Harrison County West Virginia Chamber of Commerce, and a graduate of the FBI Citizen's Academy and Vice President of the FBI Citizen's Academy Alumini Association.
