Tim was born in Indianapolis on March 13, 1951 to Thomas E. and Betty M. (Duncan) Young. He was previously employed with Reagan & Rye Bakery, Excel Bakery, Wonder Bakery, Allisons and Goodwill. Also, at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway selling tickets and the Indiana State Fair as a shuttle operator.
Tim attended Bethesda Baptist Church, Brownsburg, Indiana.
He was a previous member of the Cluster Buster Hot Rod Club of Indianapolis, Indiana. Tim’s passion was car restoration, talking on CB radios as “Doughboy” and caring for his beloved dogs.
Tim is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Jeffrey and Jerry Young. He is survived by his brother, Jim Young; sister Tina Young; nephew, Nick (Candi) Young and great nieces, Nicole and Madison Young.
Tim played varsity football 1966 season and basketball on junior varsity, 1965-1966 season then varsity basketball during 2 seasons 1966-1968 at Brownsburg High School. He was a 2 year member of the Brownsburg High School Letterman's Club.
