Diane received a Bachelor of Education degree from Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana and subsequently earned a Masters Degree in Education, Human Resources and Counseling. She was a member of Delta Gamma Kappa sorority. She taught elementary grades at Brownsburg Community School District.
