Defendant was earlier charged in an indictment by the Southern District of Indiana in the mid-seventies. He fled the country and remained a fugitive until his arrest June 1, 1984.
Other co-conspirators were charged in the Tampa indictment, too. Two were from Brownsburg High School.
He is believed to have died from throat cancer, yet death has not been verified.
