Roger D. Cloyd, age 67, Pittsboro, passed away November 14, 2016 from cancer. He had worked in the mill shop for Contract Lumber and was a US Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his father Barney Ray Cloyd. Survivors include his wife Gaylen Cloyd; mother Maide Strieghler; brothers Jimmy Cloyd and Larry Cloyd; sister Sandra Roberts.
