About	Bruce was born on February 10, 1949 in Pottsville, PA (the only child) to Elizabeth (Ann Clayton Herdrich) and Nelson (Bruce Samuel) Clayton. He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his step-father, Louis Herdrich of Brownsburg, Indiana. Bruce is survived by his son, Austin B. Clayton of Bloomington, and his step-daughter, Amanda Barnett of Memphis, TN. His quick smile and love for life will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He was a teammate on the school's 1963-1964 Freshman basketball team. He was chosen as the Junior Class's President and was his class's 1965 Homecoming King nominee.
