About	Paul passed away August 1993 after a gallant fight against Esophageal cancer. He was diagnosed with the disease in early 1992 and elected to celebrate life during his final year. As a consequence, he rented the Paar house in Cabo St. Lucas, Mexico, and invited many of his friends to join Barb and him as they enjoyed the final days together. He returned to Everett, Washington and resumed his treatments. When he began to fail, he called his many friends together for one final weekend of fun at Whistler/ Blackcomb resort in BC. It was suprisingly a weekend of fun as Paul presided over the group. A photo of him on horseback during that last weekend is how we remembered him at the memorial service.
