Here's the updated information for our reunion. Mark your calendars.
Friday, Sept. 29th, 2023 we'll meet at the high school football field gate to attend the Homecoming game together.
Saturday, Sept 30th, we can meet at the Brookside Memorial at Shell Cove Park for anyone wishing to view the memorial and bricks in the afternoon at 2:00. For those who are not aware of the memorial park, this park is for BHS members from every class who have passed away and family or friends purchased memorial bricks to be placed in the pathway. This is an ongoing project.
That evening we will have our main dinner party at Amber Oaks in Sheffield Lake at 6pm. Since our crowd will be larger, they will close the bar and restaurant for our party. If we raise enough donations through the GoFundMe online site, our meal will be discounted to everyone otherwise the meal will be $50 per person. Drinks are to be paid for by each individual. They are providing wait staff and bartenders.
Sunday, Oct 1st, we can meet for breakfast before out of the area classmates can get on the road if they choose. Breakfast will not be paid for by donations.
If you see any classmates please ask them if they are aware of the reunion and share the information with them. Or they can reach Robin Wolford Bublinec, or me, Sharon Pratt Riley on Facebook, Classmates, or Alumniclass sites. I'm on all three, and so is Robin.
Any remaining donations will be used to purchase bricks for the memorial park. We will have a random drawing of the names to purchase bricks for our classmates who have passed away.

Okay everyone, thank you for your patience and input regarding the reunion while I’ve been working on finalizing venue(s). After receiving everybody’s votes and comments, the Brookside High School Class of 1983 40threunion will be on Saturday, August 19,2023 from 5:00 to 11:00 pm at Quaker Steak and Lube in Sheffield located at 4900 Transportation Drive. Appetizers will be provided while they last and there will be a cash bar. For those of you traveling from out-of-town, there is a Homewood Suites located at 4930 Transportation Drive (440-695-0735) within walking distance of the restaurant that has rooms available. For those of you who voted for other months, I very much hope you can make it!
On Sunday, August 20th at around noon, Denise Signor has kindly offered to provide a tour of the new Brookside High School as well as the old Brookside High School for anyone interested. Thank you very much for doing that for us Denise. I can’t wait to see if I still fit in my senior locker!
