About Jul. 1, 2015: Robert "Bruce" Aldrich, 74, passed away peacefully in Naples, Florida, surrounded by his family on June 9, 2015. Bruce was the son of the late Harold Bucken and Emilie Thompson Aldrich, brother of Gail Aldrich Ward and the late Faith A. Wyckoff and Harold B. Aldrich III.

Bruce was raised in Bronxville and was a 1958 graduate of Bronxville High School. He later served in the US Marine Corps and graduated from the University of Virginia (he was a member of Phi Gamma Delta).

Bruce worked as a sales executive for Xerox and a sales representative for various RCI resorts around the country.

Bruce resided in Naples, Florida, for the past seven years with his wife and companion of 26 years, Christina Crowe Aldrich. Prior to this, he resided throughout New England, including Cape Cod and Newburyport, as well as Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

He is survived by his children, Sam Aldrich and wife, Cindy, of West Newbury, Amy Aldrich of Charlestown, Morgan Aldrich of Eastham, and Megan Aldrich of Eastham. He is also survived by his children through marriage, Richie Cahoon and his wife, Jacie, of Naples, Florida, Andy Cahoon and his wife, Karen, of Sandwich, and Lori Crocker and her husband, Craig, of Sandwich. He was known as "Grumps" to his 11 grandchildren, Charley, Jessie, and Stevie Aldrich, Cade, Kylie and Jack Cahoon, Chloe and Brandon Cahoon, and Chase, Luke, and Tommy Crocker. Bruce is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Bruce will be remembered for his great sense of humor and adventure, quick wit and banter, and his love of fishing, beaches, and exploring. He will be sorely missed by all.
