About Me	Attended BB Elementary, 1946-50; spring '51; graduated from Borger Texas High School, 1958; taught history at college level, mostly at the University of Georgia (1970-2000). I tried to adapt to every generation of student. I believe the most powerful force in history is religion not ideology. I was more influenced in my early years by my mother and my two older sisters, especially Elizabeth "Libby" Johnson, who went to Broken Bow schools and married Albert "Bud" Johnson, also from Broken Bow. She died in 2014, one month after his passing. Libby taught me that a) it's not who you are but the person you want to be; and b) never have a woman for an enemy.
