Frances D. Foster, age 89, formerly of Inola and Owasso, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Glenwood Skilled Nursing Center in Glenpool, Oklahoma.

Frances was born on August 10, 1936, in Wagoner, Oklahoma, to Huston Henry and Mary (Doyle) Taber. She graduated from Broken Arrow High School in 1954 and later attended college. On July 15, 1956, she married the love of her life, Dale Lee Foster, and together they built a life centered on faith, family, and service to others.

For many years, Frances faithfully served as the secretary to the elementary principal at Inola Public Schools. She was known for her kindness, organization, and caring spirit, and generations of students, parents, teachers, and staff were blessed by her welcoming smile and willingness to help.

A devoted member of the Inola Church of Christ, Frances lived her faith each day through her compassion, generosity, and love for others. She was a gifted seamstress who enjoyed creating beautiful things with her hands, loved listening to country music, and had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel at home. Family was always at the center of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with those she loved. Frances and Dale made their home in Inola for 27 years before later moving to Baptist Village in Owasso.She is survived by her children, Kim Hall and husband Ray of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Wayne Foster and wife Vicky of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Teresa Clifton and husband Jeff of Ketchum, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Hannah Adams, Caleb Adams, Noah Foster, Heather Casey, and Jeremy Clifton; her great-grandchildren, Kylie Adams, Maddie Adams, Olive LeBovich, Abby Casey, and Tessa Casey; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dale Lee Foster; her parents, Huston Henry and Mary Taber; and her siblings, Velma Williams, Jack Taber, Edith Gaither, Mary Parks, Ruth Dillingham, Bud Taber, Irene Parks, and Burl Taber.

Frances will be remembered for her gentle heart, unwavering faith, welcoming spirit, and the love she shared so freely with everyone she met. Her legacy of kindness, devotion to family, and quiet service to others will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2026, from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Brown's Funeral Service in Coweta, Oklahoma. Graveside services celebrating Frances' life will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, July 20, 2026, at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, Oklahoma with Caleb Adams and Noah Foster officiating.Family and friends are invited to share memories online at www.brownfamilycares.com.
