John Robert Davenport, age 58, passed away on August 31, 2024. He died peacefully at home in the Northwoods of Wisconsin.ohn spent most of his career as a Registered Nurse working in the operating room. His love of the outdoors and especially hunting took him and his family to Alaska, Wyoming, and Wisconsin. John was a dedicated family man, a doting husband, and a loving father. His wife and daughters, Autumn and Morgan, were his pride and joy.
Misty was the love of John's life. In December, they would have been celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary. He took her to Alaska in 1999, where they got married, had their beautiful daughters and lived an adventurous life.
John is survived by his wife, Misty, and daughters, Autumn and Morgan. He is also survived by his dad and stepmother (Joe and Mary Davenport), his brother Larry and his family, sister Jennifer and her children, and sister Natalie and her children.
John is predeceased by his mother, Sidney Karr.
John did not want a funeral. We are remembering John with a contribution to Peace Gospel International (www.peacegospel.org) or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (www.cff.org). John's family sponsors an orphan with Peace Gospel, which protects orphans, child labor victims, and young trafficking survivors. John's younger daughter has Cystic Fibrosis, so this organization is also near and dear to them.
