Patricia Lynn Eason Cambre passed away on Sunday, Oct. 4, 2009, at the age of 58. A native of Baton Rouge and resident of Prairieville, she is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Glenn T. Cambre; three daughters, Virginia and husband John Dailey, of Tallahassee, Fla., Rebecca Cambre, of Roanoke, Ala., Meredith and husband, Lance Braud, of Seattle, Wash.; two sons, Glenn Thomas Jr., of Atlanta, John and wife Lisa Cambre, of Lafayette; sister, Susan Eason Villarreal and husband Cris; and grandson, John Thomas "Tommy" Dailey. She was preceded in death by her parents, William R. and Ellen Currie Eason. She was an educator and a librarian who loved children, along with traveling with her husband. A memorial gathering will be on Tuesday, Oct. 6, at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. A memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church of Gonzales on Wednesday, Oct. 7, at 11 a.m. with a reception to follow at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to First United Methodist Church of Gonzales or Louisiana United Methodist Children's Home.
