Died at age 57 in a Geneva, Ill., hospital. She was a graduate of Butler University and a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. In 1964, she was an Indianapolis 500 Festival Princess.
She taught school in Indianapolis and was a registered nurse. She practiced nursing in many fields before specializing in mental health.
Survivors included her husband, Dr. Thomas Blood, St. Charles, Ill., four sons, two daughters and three grandchildren.
