Army, 3 Years
Vietnam service 1969/ Post Tet Offensive/ On Chu Lai Southern perimeter last night of the Battle of Lamar Plain/ on 1st troop withdrawal-sent to Texas and part of Nixon's border shutdown OPERATION INTERCEPT THAT IN 6 MONTHS never caught anybody, but ran cathouse prices waaaay down for anyone walking across border from Ft. Bliss. Got discharged to go to college and THEN had every college in America shut down during 1970's STUDENT STRIKE. 2 YRS, 2 DAYS, 9 HOURS + 45MINUTES OF SERVITUDE FOR NOTHING.. Moved to S.F. and lived 1 house away from corner of Haight st. and Asbury St.. (Haight Asbury) "HELP! I'm flying and I can't come down!"

Our Brighton High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Brighton High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated. All of us in Rochester are proud of our military alumni and want to thank them for risking their lives to protect our country!
