And a new Middle school that opened in 1973. I'd prefer to ride my bike there or walk through the Conservation Land to it. My French teacher thought us kids would really clean-up. With the expected huge crowds during the Bicentennal era here. I graduated from MM-Tech 1979. They changed the name several times & the logo too. The Concord Minuteman logo. Got several face lifts. Had the musket removed. Added a few towns like Needham. Finally opened the new building, where the football field was. But the name has always been. Minuteman one word.
I suggested a few NEW names, but they never called me back. Like Middlesex Tech. It is in eastern Middlesex Co. But the Private Prep School in Concord Ma. The Middlesex School wasn't interested in changing their name. I did make it to my 10th Reunion. Was held at Heritage Hall Lexington in Nov 1989. (END of Part 1)
