| Favorite School Memory | My days of playing basketball and volley ball as a "Sissie", every day was just a fun and eventful time! Of course, most eventful was a blind date with Robert Garrett to whom I was married after graduation in 1963 for 32 years. |
| About Me | Moved 7 times, all in Texas, during husband's 32 yr.career with TP&L (TU/Texas Utilities, Oncor). I worked full-time 31 yrs. in a variety of companies, beginning right after graduation and getting married at Natural Gas Pipeline in Bridgeport, (Poco Graphite in Decatur, Central Telephone Co. in Decatur, Pavestone in Euless, Upham Oil, Moore & Smiddy Law Firm and MWISD all in Mineral Wells, retiring from Denison ISD in 2001. Reared 3 sons and have traveled to Hawaii, cruised to Alaska, New York to Canada, Eastern Carribean, Bahamas, Mexico to Central America, Mediterranean-Turkey to Spain, and Baltic Capitals. Spent one week every summer participating in Construction Mission Trips helping build churches in various cities in the US every year from 2001-2023 with my church group, Parkside Baptist in Denison. Spent many weeks and weekends on Lake Texoma in our cabin at Cedar Mills, then after retirement moved permanently to Lake Texoma just outside Pottsboro, TX. Loved every minute on the lake, swimming, boating and fishing. Lost my husband in 2016 and still live outside Pottsboro beginning in 1998 to present 2025. Will continue here, if possible, until God calls me home. Have lived a great life, including ups and downs that most people go through.
