About Me	Anyone who knows me, knows I enlisted in the Marine Corps right after high school. I served four years and got out in June of 1977 after attaining the rank of Sergeant. That is when I got interested in medicine. I graduated from Brookdale Community College in December of 1982 with an AAS in Nursing. I reenlisted in the Navy in February of 1984 as a Hospital Corpsman, and stayed until my retirement in July of 2002 as a Chief Hospital Corpsman (HMC/E-7). My last seven years on active duty were as an Independant Duty Corpsman (sort of a mid-level provider like a Physician Assistant). I've been working in the Emergency Room of the Camp Pendleton Naval Hospital here in sunny southern California since July of 2003.
