| About Me | Frogville Farms - Hwy 299 & Dunn Moody Road, Round Mountain, CA Fridays 10am - 2pm Lisa Hanaway - When you buy produce, herbs or seedlings from Frogville Farms you know you are getting fresh healthy food and starts. - We use only OMRI (Organic Material Review Institute) approved products. - We use NO PESTICIDES on our plants. No Pesticides are allowed to be sprayed on the farm. - Brush clearing is done by our eager organic lawnmowers, our goats, Tiny Tim and Dante. We will be increasing our goat herd over time. Brush clearing with goats allows us to pick and choose small areas to add to the farm. No large machinery is used to till the soil. The goats are choosy about what they eat and will not eat many of the wildflowers and herbs on the property. They prefer brush, grass, blackberries, and poison oak. Other methods of clearing property can devastate key plants and promote thistle growth. - Our farm is a balanced ecosystem. We respect all of the creatures that we share the farm with. This balance also works to keep common garden pest in check. - We choose to plant in small areas that are spread out throughout the farm.
