On May 27, 2024 we lost our tall, dark and handsome brother, Chris at the age of 77. Born to Walter and Marie Oldynski of Brentwood, PA (both predeceased) on April 25, 1947 the first of eight children, Claudia Dewey (Dennis), Janice Kormick (George), Deborah Eisel (Bernie), Susan Seibel, Pamela Rende, Joseph Oldynski (Katie), Marsia Ackman (Marty); also one niece; six nephews; two great-nephews; and two great-nieces. Chris graduated from Brentwood High School and joined the U.S. Army. After serving in Vietnam, Chris returned home to attend Dean Tech earning his engineering degree. He proceeded to work for Rockwell International which led him to his job in Harrisburg on 3 Mile Island. When that job finished, he moved to Bethel, Ohio where he met his companion of almost 25 years Shirley Sims. She was the love of his life as were her children and grandchildren. In Ohio, he became a health inspector for the county. Chris enjoyed motorcycles then later his e-bike. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, shooting, going to gun shows, gardening and reading. Chris will be missed not only by his Pittsburgh family but his Ohio family and many, many friends he made throughout his life.

A celebration of Chris's life will be held at a later date.
