David Coggin

Air Force, 20+ Years
Enlisted in 1989. Became an Aerospace Physiology Tech for 9 years. Went on to be a KC-135 Boom Operator which I have done every since. Notable event: On 9/11 I refueled the F-16's that guarded Air Force 1 on it's way back to DC. That was a very memorable day.

I served as an Artillery officer in various assignments. I served two tours in Korea the fist of which was was in 1950 - 52. Served in Vietnam 67 - 68 and two tours in Germany. Was a batttery commander for 5 years and commanded two battalions.Spent 5 years in research and development of the anti balistic missile system and ended my carreeer as a post comptroller..

He is an MP stationed at Fort Hood, TX with his wife DeAnna and 3 Children, William, Kal-El & Adrianna. He is currently serving his second tour of Iraq and is expected home in March of this year. Beginning 2010, he will begin his training to become a Respiratory Therapist.
