About Me	Attended college at Edmund (Central State College) for a year. Then married Glen Sehested in 1947. Raised 2 successful children in Snyder, Tex.. Worked as a church secretary and then as a public accountant. Moved to Houma LA in 1966 and lived a full life with work as a public accountant and Glen and I were both very active in church and held a number of different offices there. After Glen retired we bought a 32 ft motor home and for the next 5 years we were 'gypsies' traveling all across and arouind this country for 7-8 months a year. It was great fun, but after 5 years we decided that was 'enough'. Glen passed away in 2001. Stayed in Houma another few years supported by strong network of friends but by 2007 I felt I needed to live closer to at least one of kids. Son Ken and family live in Asheville, NC. Beautiful mountains! But the town is also located in those steep mountains and I found those challenging to walk up and down. Daughter Glenda lives in Sioux Falls SD. Tried hard to get her to retire (she's college prof) and come share a house with me in Houma. She didn't think much of that idea. SO I moved to Sioux Falls and now share a home with her. Since I've moved here, I've become gvery familiar with snow (which piles up and up and up and up for 2-3 winter months), ice, and lots of below 0 degree temps - but I still don't like them :-) Glenda and I have done a good bit of traveling, especiallly by ship. We even did a tour through Russia on a small tour boat. Unbelievable!! We've also joined son Ken (and wife Nancy) for trips to Alaska, the New Englend Islands, up the East Coast to Halifax, and now we're planning one around Lake Michigan in another of the small boats (which we actually prefer to the big ships). We get back to Oklahoma almost every summer too. My sister Wilma (another Bray grad) lives in Norman and my brother Jerry (only attended Bray a few years) lives in Duncan.
