Tom had moved up to Arlington, WA with his wife after graduation (on their way to Canada, but the van broke down north of Seattle, so they stayed!), where they settled, cleaned up, and raised 8 or 9 kids (I can't remember which). But he got leukemia, and after a long well-fought battle, he died in the Spring of 1996. He was a great guy (and my steady for the latter half of our junior year), and his wife and family are a wonderful legacy to his memory.
