About	Chris attended Castro Valley HS (Castro Valley, CA) her freshman year (1966-1967) and Branham HS her sophomore through senior years (1967-1970). --- From the SF Chronicle (Aug. 13, 2024): Christine Robin Canty passed in Pacifica (CA) on August 12, 2024 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She had a long and successful career as a computer hardware technician beginning in the 1980s. This was just as computers were becoming commercially viable, and she was very passionate about her career. She was an avid lover of nature and hiked a large section of the Pacific Crest Trail. She was a warrior in fighting for LGBT rights in the 1980s. Her mother's family was deeply rooted in the North Beach Italian San Francisco community, and Chris took great pride in this family history. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Carol, and her brother Tom. Chris is survived by one daughter and one grandson.
