About Jeff was a student leader and active in many clubs and activities at Branham HS including frosh-soph and varsity football and track, French Club, and Key Club. He served as student body president fall semester and class president spring semester during his senior year. He was also a varsity football All-League defensive tackle his senior year. --- Jeff's brother Chuck (BHS Class of 1972) shared the following: After HS, Jeff attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and graduated in 1974 with a BS degree in Marine Biology. Shortly after graduation, Jeff traveled to Antarctica where he worked for six months at McMurdo Station. He enjoyed playing football in sub-zero conditions and, of course, partying with workmates. When his assignment ended, Jeff traveled to Australia to warm up and enjoy life down under. He traveled to many Asian countries and particularly enjoyed Bali in Indonesia. He ended his overseas travels by visiting friends in Hawaii. He then returned to the SF Bay Area and found work in the plumbing business. Jeff married his wife Mary Ann in 1981, and together, they had two daughters. Around the time of his marriage, Jeff and Mary Ann moved to the Sacramento area where he went to work for the Moen Company. He worked for Moen for over 25 years, focused on sales to large construction companies. Jeff was a proud father to his two daughters and engaged in their many activities, including coaching soccer, but he preferred to be their biggest fan and cheerleader. Jeff was a huge SF Giants and SF 49ers fan. He was also a huge fan of the Grateful Dead and remained a “Dead Head” all his life. At times, Jeff was larger than life. He laughed big, loved big, and cared deeply for all the people in his world. --- Jeff is survived by his wife Mary Ann, his two daughters, five grandsons, and his brother Chuck.
