About	From the Napa Valley Register newspaper (April 3, 2021): Carol Solon passed away peacefully at her home in Napa (CA) on March 22 surrounded by family. Carol fought a courageous battle against early onset dementia for 13 years. Carol grew up in San Jose where she met her husband Tom Solon and raised two sons. Carol and Tom moved to Napa in 1989 where Carol worked in the wine industry for 20 years. Carol enjoyed camping with her family, boating trips to Lake Tahoe and Lake Berryessa, and traveling to Hawaii, Mexico, Europe and Jamaica. She was a big fan of music and spent many long weekends enjoying Blues and Jazz festivals. She also loved to sing. Carol is survived by her husband Tom, two sons, her parents, two brothers, one sister, six grandsons, one great granddaughter, and numerous nieces and nephews.
