From the Medford (Oregon) Mail Tribune (March 17, 1999): "James Richard Jackson, 46 of Medford, died Saturday [March 13] at his home. He was born April 3, 1952, in San Jose, Calif. He moved to the Rogue Valley seven years ago [1992] from San Jose. Mr. Jackson enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and playing the guitar. Survivors include both parents, two brothers, and two sisters.
