Dropped out at 16 to pursue a carrer in rock climbing becoming a well know figure in that sport. Through climbing eventually became a rigger in the film industry. His first film was 'Cliffhanger' with Sylvester Stallon. Eventually he recieved two Technical Academy Awards, along with two co-workers for the technology used in cable controlled overhead cameras, now most noticeable for use in sports events. Noted for its ability to allow multiple exact sweeping through a three dimensional space. Used frequently in green screen and multiple reshoots.
