Clarice Hardy, 81, of Brainerd, Minnesota, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 30, 2025, in Brainerd.

Clarice was born on June 19, 1943, in Brainerd to Roman and Leona (Beneke) Pfaffendorf. She spent many dedicated years working with Fleet of MN/MT. Clarice found joy in the simple pleasures of life—she loved sewing, reading, painting, fishing, and especially traveling with her husband, Don.

Grateful for sharing Clarice’s life are her beloved husband of 50 years, Don; her son, Troy (Karen) Skarolid of Baxter; her stepchildren, Cathie (Greg) Pearson, Kim Hardy, Randy (Roxanne) Hardy, and Cindy Meierhofer (Todd Fisher); her sister, Marlys Thiel; eleven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

Clarice was preceded in death by her parents; her mother in-law and father-in-law; her brother-in-law, Allen Hardy and sister in-law Pat Hardy; and her brother, James Pfaffendorf.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 5, 2025, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Brainerd. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the start of the service. Lunch will follow the service at the church. Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Brainerd.
