About Me	Now that summer's here with a vengance, I'm kinda missing a little of the cooler weather. My husband and I are originally from Tennessee. I have two sisters and a brother. My father passed away when he was 56, and my mother passed away in Sept, 08. She is from England. My dad grew up in Tennessee. I am retired, but I work PRN in a cardiac catheterization lab. I have two beautiful grandsons, a dog named Lily(had to have Lily put down two days before Christmas 08), and a horse named Steamroller. I live on a beautiful lake in the foothills of North Carolina. My husband and I love to go to the Caribbean (St. John is our favorite) David dives with my brother, and I snorkel with my sister-in-law. I enjoy golfing and taking pictures. We live close to our two daughters and their husbands. They both have sons. I love warm weather, so I'm not looking forward to the winter months. Now it's summer, and I'm happy. David and I leave for Bonaire on Tuesday, July 7 , for a week. Enjoying riding my horse some now that it's warm. Still working every now and then. Still enjoying Holt and Garris tons. Now it's winter again...Jan. 2011...and going to Bonaire again very soon. Yeah! We now have another beautiful grandson, Smith Allen Hanchey. Holt is now 5 and Garris is 4. Wonderful grandchildren. Well, missed the summer season of comments. We now have a beautiful 3 month old granddaughter. She belongs to Bethany and Jon. Life is good. My sister, Patti, survived a major heart attack and surgery, but she's recovering miraculously. It's back to winter, but so far we've not had snow. yeah!!! Going to the islands soon. Can't wait. Well, it's 2012. Wow! We are enjoying our grandchildren....finally had a granddaughter in 2011. We have 3 boys and a girl now. They are awesome. We will be heading to the islands again soon. Can't wait. David's mom is very ill (90). My favorite Aunt (Hilda) is also very ill. Getting older is tough when you start losing your loved ones. David and I are healthy and doing great.
