Johnny Ray Cook
Class of 1967
Johnny Cook graduated from BHS in 1967 and went on to sing tenor with some of the most recognized Southern Gospel groups in the world, most notably the Happy Goodmans and The Statesmen. Johnny was recognized as the best tenor gospel singer in 1974 and 1975. Johnny passed away on May 14, 2000 and is buried in Oakwood Cemetery in Milan.
