About	Melissa Davina Sasfy-Cochran of New Braunfels, Texas, passed away March 10, 2017 at Resolute Health surrounded by her family and friends after her second battle with cancer. She was 52 years young born in 1964 in Toledo, Ohio. Melissa was the daughter of Mary Phelps and Clifford Sasfy. She also considered Donna M. O’Donnell a second mother. She lived in Ohio, Mexico, Oklahoma, Florida and Texas. Always the independent sort, she left home and high school early. She earned a degree in accounting from Southwest Texas State University while raising two young girls and running a successful staffing & accounting business. There she met and married her husband, Bret Cochran, and had two more children. Melissa was dedicated to her family, a faithful Christian, and spent much of her time in the service of others. She is survived by her husband, Bret Cochran; four children, Danielle (Robert) Ploeger of San Marcos, Kirstin Heaton, Keith Cochran, and Taylor Cochran; two grandchildren, Ryleigh and Jackson Ploeger; her mothers, her twin brother, Mark Sasfy, half-brother, Clifford Sasfy II, extended family and the many close friends she considered family. Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ chapel located at 1390 Hanz Drive, New Braunfels, Texas 78130 on Saturday March 18th, 2017. The celebration of life and reception will begin immediately following the memorial service. Words cannot express how deeply she will be missed.
