About Me	Grandmother to five incredibly beautiful grandchildren and the cutest little great grandson you could ever hope for; mother to three incredibly loving and talented children, Michael, Peggy and Teresa, and wife to one terriffic husband, Perry. I am one blessed woman. My husband closed his podiatrist practice after 30 years and we ad great plans of travel and part time working in fields we both enjoy, but that all changed when I had a very bad result from a back surgery in 2014. Perry stayed home a year taking care of me, but ultimately went back to work in 2016. Two more back surgeries and a lot of help from my kids and keeping God really busy, I am making progress! In the meantime, I picked up a craft, which has turned into a new career of sorts for me. In all my down time, I taught myself the basics of painting and gourd art, and now I am on exhibit in our local art gallery and along with my husband I attend two to three art shows a year. God is so good to give me something brand new in the midst of such a dark time. ...(read more)
