About Me	Started college (ISU) interupted by service in the US Navy. In 1946 returned to finish my education and started my career In Broadcasting in 1948 with Westinghouse Broadcasting Company in Fort Wayne, Ind. WOWO. Was sent to WINS NYC in 1964 then to WIND Chicago in 1967. Bought my own stations WMRO and WAUR(FM) in Aurora, IL in 1969. Decided to retire at the end of 1986 sold the stations. Retired to Florida. Played a lot of golf and joined the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and boated a lot on the Gulf coast. Moved to Chapel Hill, North ...(read more)
