About Me	My life took a hard left turn when my husband died suddenly Nov 10, 2019. I had surgery less than a month later, struggled through the holidays and ran smack dab into the Covid-19 pandemic. I was married for 27 years. Tim had the key to my heart and I struggle every day to adjust to him not being here. We had two wonderful children - Shannon (from my previous marriage) and Conal (adopted by us). Both are loving, kind, and generous beyond measure. I have an amazing son-out-law Bruce who is a loving and kind person. I have a dog named Dorcas, a black lab mix that I rescued. I have two cats - Loki who we got at the Humane Shelter and discovered he was a Bengal. We rescued Skadi (pronounce that like Scotty) as we were moving last year to our new place. He is a tuxedo. I have narcolepsy. I host the group on Facebook for that. I also have Fuchs dystrophy, which means I will eventually go blind and need a cornea transplant. Which explains the cool purple glasses I wear. I blog occasionally about this and that. Usually when my narcolepsy has me staying awake in the wee hours of the night. I am a novice bootblack, love the smell of leather, and enjoy being set on fire.
