Army, 20+ Years
Joined the Army in February 1968 and after basic training was accepted for Army Flight Trainng. Completed flight school and was appointed an Army Warrant Officer and a helicopter pilot. Went to Vietnam and survived that experience. Became an Army Flight Instructor and went back to Vetnam for a second tour in 72-73. Stayed on after the cease fire and Peace Accords to help coordinate POW returns and US Stand Down Operations. Afterwards, was stationed in Hawaii,
and Ft Bragg. Numerous assignments, schools and interesting jobs. Was a member of the US Army Parachute Team "Golden Knights".

Our Boonton High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Boonton High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated. All of us in Boonton are proud of our military alumni and want to thank them for risking their lives to protect our country!
